Hey graduate students in the group,
You might be interested in this workshop. I attended the 1-day Faculty
version , but if you want to be in the business of patenting
discoveries of the screensaver :) Let me know,
At least keep it into consideration for later years of your PhD if you
are interested in this sort of thing.

Colleagues,
During our discussions at HBS on May 18th, we reported that we teach
an MBA course on commercializing early stage science and technology.
The course includes projects which are largely based on research done
within the Harvard graduate schools or affiliated hospitals. We also
include as participants in the course doctoral students and research
fellows.
If you have researchers in your lab who would like to attend this
course in the fall, please forward them the attached description. The
course has a limited enrollment.

Dear all,
Here is my ACS meeting schedule, these are the talks I found
interesting. I cannot attend to all, so if you want to attend to some
of them, your help in covering ACS is appreciated. This can also help
as a guide for those who have not analyzed the complicated schedule.
Please modify/add the wiki page as you find it conveinient. I will add
a few talks later today on POLY and PMSE but the schedule is basically
ready:

Alan - we would like to do some VM migration testing on Shanghai
(aka: AspuruWin) tomorrow at 3 pm. While it is non-destructive, it
would best if the system is quiet during the test. Can you and your
group do without the system for a couple of hours starting at 3 pm
tomorrow?

Dear all, the ACS is dangerously coming close, and the only way we can
afford to print laminated posters is using the department printer, see
below:
http://aspuru.chem.harvard.edu:8080/mediawiki/index.php/Printing_Posters
Therefore, the deadline for printing your actual poster or sending it
to Ken Toy will probably be the end of this week.
This time, it will be very hard for me to proofread the posters, but
the rules are set for the next conference:
1) Your poster has to be in a preliminary "small" hard copy in my
office ONE WEEK before the conference so I can proofread it.
2) You cannot use Kinko's under any circumstance unless I approve it.
Therefore, please hurry up if you want to use laminated posters,
somebody (volunteers? Leslie?) can contact Ken Toy ASAP to find the
deadline for the ACS poster sessions??
Second of all, Minoo, can send you the 33-digit code (that won't be
charged!) that identifies us as members of the department. Minoo, can
you send this to the group list?
Thank you!
Alan
