Dear group members,
Dori and I are rearranging furniture at home and will not need this couch-bed anymore.
It cost us originally 500 back in the bay area circa 2005. We used to have it in our living room when I was a postdoc. It is well preserved and has great storage drawers.
It is *free* to the first group member that agrees to come to my house (Cambrigeport) and take it away before next Saturday when we have other furniture come in. It is great as a guest bed!
I will send another picture of it in the next message.
Again, first come, first-serve.

CLARIFICATION - this was only intended for the EFRC faculty. -Cathy

Subject: FW: EFRC- Updates for Y-3 Annual Report
Importance: High
Hi all,
This is a clarification for the current and pending request. I only need a list of new current and pending since the mid-term report. Please email me if you would like your C&P from what we submitted in Nov. and I will send it to you, but please do not send me a full list, only the updates. This would be greatly appreciated and most helpful so I won't have to weed through everyone's C&P to find the changes.
Thanks,
Cathy
Group:
We will have a group party next Friday 27 April at ~5/6pm (exact time TBD
in follow-up email next week). Location is here (exact space also TBD).
First, this is a way to offer farewell wishes to Alex and Sangwoo (and Sigi
-- yay another do-over!). We will miss or have missed you! Did I forget
somebody? [?]
Second, we have quite a few newbies and not so newbie folks who've recently
joined and have yet to experience an A-G party that isn't an Open House
recruiting gig with slides and such. Newbies: you know who you are -- most
Siberians et al; plus our rotators Leon, Adrian, and gosh darn it somebody
else, right??; plus our beloved College undergrads who suck up our time but
are just so darn cute (just kidding...about the cute part - hehe). [?]
Third, this is a group-only plus spouse/significant other/partner and
offspring if any event. If you're a lucky bachelor or bachelorette, you
can bring a friend but I don't want to see or hear about any
non-group-related person wanting to come and squat at our party. [?] Yeah,
that's right. I said it. Insects are unwelcome pests.
Lastly, I need a headcount (this time an accurate headcount) for the
catering order, and it must be placed by Monday. Figure out the heads
you're bringing and email aspuru.staff(a)gmail.com. That's
aspuru.staff(a)gmail.com, A-S-P-U-R-U[dot]S-T-A-F-F(a)gmail.com.
More later,
