Subject: Opening for "Computational Support and Training Manager" in
Department of Chemistry at Boston University
To: "alan(a)aspuru.com" <alan(a)aspuru.com>
Cc: "Straub, John E" <straub(a)bu.edu>
Dear Alan,
I hope all is well with you.
Our Department of Chemistry currently has an opening for a Computer Support
and Training Manager. I write to ask if you might know of any good
candidates.
For the right person, this role could be an interesting as it connects to
every aspect of our Department's mission, including research, teaching, and
outreach.
This is a staff position and pays fairly well. There are strong research
and training components, as well as programming (related to data
management) and content development (related to our website and
newsletters). It could be an interesting for someone trained in
computational chemistry, interested in outreach and the training of
students, and also interested in engaging in support for research in
computational chemistry.
If you know of any individuals that might be interested in such a position,
please have them contact me.
Many thanks for your help.
My best,
John
