Dear Quanta,

It turns out that under the DARPA Young Faculty Award, I will be on the look for a quantum information postdoc to work on quantum smulation (broadly defined, new ideas in the area) and also the specific application to Fermionic (chemical) systems. The start date is as soon as possible, and I am currently beginning to interview / screen candidates. If you are interested or know anybody that would be interested in such position, please let them know.

The project is to develop quantum simulators beyond the gate model, with luck we will have the first paper on the subject on the arxiv in a few weeks. I was trying to delay the search until the paper was up, but at this point, I'd rather start looking. I can send more info on request.

Thank you for passing the word around,
Alan
