Sunday, April 6: Jeremy Jackson, renowned marine ecologist of the Scripps Institution of Oceanography, has been selected to recieve the 11th annual Roger Tory Peterson Medal presented by the Harvard Museum of Natural History. Jackson will deliver a lecture entitled "Brave New Ocean" to discuss the future of the world's oceans. Wednesday, April 9: Harry Greene, one of the world's leading experts on snakes and amphibians, gives a public lecturee entitled "Natural history, aesthetics, and conservation". Greene is an HUCE visiting scholar from the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, Cornell University.
