Dear Group,

Please claim the couch! It's free!

Dear All,

The Aspuru-group couch is back on the market again.  As you can see from the email thread below, the couch has a long history of bringing luck to its owners, including 2 jobs, 2 babies, and now a Fulbright scholarship and grad school acceptances.

In keeping with tradition, the couch is free to whoever wishes to take it off my hands.  Ideally, you would come and get it as close to May 29th as possible, but definitely before, since I have to vacate the dorms by that date.  It is still in excellent condition.

Let me know if you are interested!

Cheers,
Laszlo

Subject: [Aspuru-Guzik group list] Fwd: Free black vinyl couch-bed with 3 storage drawers
To: A-G Group <aspuru-list@lists.fas.harvard.edu>

Dear All,

As I am moving to Beijing by the end of next month; there are many
things I don't need anymore, for example desk, chair, bookshelves,
platform bed, mattress (available near the end of august). If you need
them just contact me for a pickup (come and grab anything you need).

In particular, I would like to let you know the couch I received from
Alan about a year ago is available for free again [see Fig.
photo.JPG]. According to Alan,

"It cost us originally 500 back in the bay area circa 2005. We used to
have it in our living room when I was a postdoc. It is well preserved
and has great storage drawers."

The couch is bent somewhere in the middle (it was there when I got it
from Alan); in general one can still use it in the current condition.
It is particularly useful when you have a guest visit, as it can
become a temp. bed [see Fig. Photo (1).JPG]

I should say that this is a "lucky couch". It can potentially get you
a marriage, a baby(s) (boy!), and a job, which has experimentally
worked for two times (for Alan and me) :)

Take care and keep in touch,
Man Hong

Dear group members,
Dori and I are rearranging furniture at home and will not need this
couch-bed anymore.

It cost us originally 500 back in the bay area circa 2005. We used to
have it in our living room when I was a postdoc. It is well preserved
and has great storage drawers.

It is *free* to the first group member that agrees to come to my house
(Cambrigeport) and take it away before next Saturday when we have
other furniture come in. It is great as a guest bed!

I will send another picture of it in the next message.

Again, first come, first-serve.
