Dear Group,

Sarah gave me the holiday cards for our custodians Elsa and Marie.  Elsa is flying out to El Salvador, so today is her last day of work before she takes off.  This is your last chance to sign her card as I plan to give it to her at 2pm.  By the way, someone wrote "Thanks for" on her card and did not finish writing their thought.  Nice job.

Please also sign Marie's card if you haven't already.

Last thing, Leslie used to coordinate collecting money from the group to buy a nice gift for Elsa.  I took this over last year but didn't have the time to coordinate with the entire group.  So last year, "we" got her a gift card and box of chocolates.  Unexpectedly, Elsa asked me who donated money so she could personally thank them, and of course, I didn't know what to say.  To avoid another awkward moment, I am telling you now that "we" got her a gift card and chocolates, plus the beautiful card that Sarah got, as a token of appreciation from the Aspuru-Guzik group.  "We" also got a similar gift of appreciation for Marie.  Now you can nod and smile if Elsa or Marie says anything instead of feel confused.

Last last thing, many thanks to Sarah and Stephanie for coordinating signing of cards this year.

Best,
Anna
