Dear group,<br><br>Happy new year! <br><br>I look forward to meeting you all again, and for the group to have a lot of success this year!<br><br>Regarding some items:<br><br>1. Greg Reinhard will be leaving us. This is his last week. He was admitted in a Masters program and will be leaving to study there! If you are around and would like to thank him for his help, just stop by his office. I am working on getting temporary administrative support, as well as a new administrator. We might have to do some paperwork ourselves at the moment.
<br clear="all">2. We have 2 desks downstairs in the Friend group. I think that officially, Leslie and Ivan will use them, at least until the end of January, when Ivan Tubert&#39;s desk will be available.<br>3. I have asked Greg about the light situation in the lab, and I think he called in December. I don&#39;t know if the lab is still dark, if so, can anybody volunteer to talk to Jerry Connor&#39;s office (it is located downstairs in the Basement, close to Cynthia Friend&#39;s lab), maybe with Nicole Delbou to make sure we have better lightning?
