CS 264 Massively Parallel Computing

This course is an introduction to several high-performance parallel computing approaches and languages. Covers GPU programming with CUDA, cluster computing with MPI, and MapReduce using Hadoop and Amazon’s EC2. Students will complete a final project of their choice.

Prerequisites:
- Programming experience (ideally in C/C++)
- Knowledge of basic systems topics (e.g., CS 61 or CSCI E-215)
Exceptions by permission of the instructor

Also offered as Distance Education Course CSCI E-292 at the Harvard Extension School. All lectures are recorded and videos will be available online.
