Dear group:

Please join me in welcoming our newest postdoctoral researcher -- Dr. Doran Bennett. 

Doran starts tomorrow and will sit in office M113 near Thomas and Nico.

Doran's graduate work was in excitation energy transfer in photosynthesis and non-linear spectroscopy of photosynthetic pigment-protein complexes. Growing out of this work, Doran's research interests include method development for understanding excited state dynamics of atoms and molecules as well as bottom-up modeling of biological and artificial materials for energy conversion. When he is not working, he enjoys getting together with friends to cook, eat, and drink.
