Title: Entanglement Wedge Reconstruction and the Information Paradox

Abstract: Assuming only entanglement wedge reconstruction and general relativity as an effective bulk field theory, we derive the Page curve and the Hayden-Preskill decoding criterion, as well as various generalisations thereof, from a purely bulk perspective in AdS/CFT. A key role is played by the tools of approximate quantum error correction.
