Community,
It is with great pleasure that we write to inform you that, effective Monday, November 8, 2010,
the Fung Library will offer extended hours. The hours have been expanded to
include evening hours Mondays through Thursdays, as well as Sunday afternoon
and evening. The collections will continue to be non-circulating, but stacks
and study spaces will be accessible during all library hours.
The new hours are as follows:
MON: 9:00 AM
– 9:00 PM
TUE:
9:00
AM – 9:00 PM
WED:
9:00 AM
– 9:00 PM
THUR: 9:00 AM
– 9:00 PM
FRI:
9:00
AM – 5:00 PM (no change to current hours)
SAT:
CLOSED
(no change to current hours)
SUN:
1:00
PM – 9:00 PM
We would like to acknowledge the generosity of the FAS Dean’s Office, as
well as the three participating Centers (the Davis Center for Russian and
Eurasian Studies, the Fairbank Center for Chinese Studies, and the Reischauer
Institute for Japanese Studies), all of which have contributed funding to
extend the library’s hours.
It is our hope that this collaboration will allow the Fung to better serve its
user community, and trust this will come as welcome news to the library’s
many constituents.
