I am very sorry to inform you that Anne Field, wife of longtime Davis Center associate Mark Field, passed away in May.  Anne and Mark met as undergraduates at Harvard/Radcliffe, married in 1948, and enjoyed 62 years of a remarkable marriage. As many of you know, Mark moved to Virginia earlier this year to be near Anne and their daughter. FIELD, Anne M. (Murray) Of Lexington, MA and Center Sandwich, New Hampshire, b. January 12, 1925; d. May 15, 2010. Wife of 62 years to Mark G. Field. Mother of Alexander James Field of Palo Alto, CA., Michael Bayard Field of Boston, MA., Andrew Murray Field of New York, NY and Elizabeth Imbert Field of Falls Church, VA. Sister of Helen Murray of Fort Myers, FL. and Center Sandwich, NH. Grandmother of James Alexander Field, Emily Elena Field and Eli Sebastian Wassertzug. Mother in law of Valerie Wolk Field and Uri Wassertzug. Her parents were James Ormsbee Murray and Helen Harrington Murray. Anne grew up in Winchester Massachusetts and graduated from Radcliffe College. She was a resident of Lexington for 52 years and summer resident of Center Sandwich for 72 years. A service will be held in Center Sandwich in July.
