Dear all,
Pick up your (free!) ticket for our second Senior Common Room Dinner from
the Dudley House main office on the third floor of Dudley House!
It will be held on Monday, November 5, and Emma Dench, Dean of GSAS and
McLean Professor of Modern and Ancient History, will reflect on a year-long
experiment teaching with Frances Frei at HBS in 2015-16, and on how Rome
helps her in her current “day job”. How could ancient Rome possibly help
us, with its mad emperors, tight hierarchies and snail-pace communications?
As usual, there will be a 5:30 pm reception in the Graduate Student Lounge
(second floor of Dudley House) and a 6 pm dinner, talk and discussion in
the Dudley House Common Room.
