POSTDOCTORAL POSITION IN HUMAN NEUROIMAGING
Are you looking for existing large imaging datasets to work on? Would you like to build your research on a Connectome project? We are seeking a well-trained postdoctoral scientist with deep experience
in human functional neuroimaging, interested in developing cutting-edge new analytic approaches relevant to mental health applications. Desired candidates will have expertise in modeling both resting and task-fMRI data. The candidate will have the opportunity
to work with unique and large datasets of repeat scans collected over multiple time points, including before and after treatment. Thus the data also affords the ability to model the impact of both pharmacological and behavioral interventions on brain activation
and connectivity. This position will oversee the processing and analysis of imaging data and develop new modeling approaches to integrate imaging data with behavioral, physiological, self-report, and passively sampled data. The selected candidate will be able
to jump immediately into the analysis of rich existing datasets and drive publications from the outcomes.
Along with a deep knowledge of neuroimaging and computational approaches, familiarity with psychological concepts and/or experience with human subject data is also preferred.
This position is supported by priority projects funded by the National Institutes of Health. It will be based at Stanford, within the William’s PanLab, and work within an excellent and inter-disciplinary
team of faculty investigators, postdocs and research coordinators.
Requirements
·
Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. in a field(s) relevant to functional neuroimaging and cognitive affective neuroscience.

High level experience with functional magnetic resonance imaging. Substantial experience with imaging
analysis software (including SPM, AFNI, etc.) and connectivity toolboxes is desired.

Substantial experience in statistical analysis and computational approaches. Experience with R or similar scripting environments is necessary.
·
A clear motivation to pursue research in cognitive-affective neuroimaging and its clinical relevance.
·
Self-motivated with a preference for working within an inter-disciplinary, collaborative environment
