Hello one and all,
I am reaching out one last time to ask those of you who are available to RSVP

student meals. The first will be a lunch on *Sunday, March 24th at 12 pm at
Russell House Tavern *with an outing to the Harvard Art Museum to follow.

We hope you are all off to the start of an amazing spring break! We
wanted to remind you about a few upcoming American Studies Workshop events
as well as a student-only admitted student dinner. Please feel free to
circulate the upcoming two workshop events widely with other
graduate students!
Our first event this week is a guest speaker event with writer Sophie Lewis

Room in Barker*. She will be giving a talk entitled "What is Family
Abolition?" In preparation, you can read her essay "Of Innocence and

Lastly, I am organizing a student-only dinner for an admitted student

for a restaurant. I need an accurate headcount to make the reservation, so
