tldr; PIZZA + light refreshments on Monday 11/21 @ 7pm in Cronkhite's Basement Lounge. Come hear Brandon McGhee<https://cabot.harvard.edu/people/brandon-mcghee> tell us about pursuing a Master's in Public Policy (MPP)! Please join us and bring any questions you think of for Brandon!
Dear All,
On Monday (11/21) at 7pm in Cronkhite's Basement Lounge, Cabot House will host a "Tutor Talk". The intention of Tutor Talks is to give students a formal chance to hear about, and ask, about graduate programs from their Tutors. The goal is to give an idea of the path's people have taken to a variety of graduate studies, what they are doing in their program, and what jobs/opportunities one can aim for with their training. We hope this will provide a touchpoint for students to reach out to tutors with follow up questions, or to get an idea if a type of graduate program is for them.
On Monday, we are lucky to be hearing from Brandon McGhee<https://cabot.harvard.edu/people/brandon-mcghee>. Brandon is a second year Master in Public Policy (MPP) student at the Harvard Kennedy School. Before Harvard, Brandon worked as an Account Manager Associate at Google and spearheaded several diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
Please come by! Eat some pizza, hang out, and come learn about what an MPP is like from Brandon!
Hope to see you there!

*ISCARIOT: THE MUSICAL*
re-imagines Judas Iscariot as a queer Asian American high school senior who
falls in love, betrays his best friend, and learns to take control of his
own narrative.
Set in a glitzy high school in modern-day Hollywood, with a diverse musical
score incorporating pop, rock, and folk elements, ISCARIOT is a new
interpretation of the Biblical canon and a commentary on race, class, and
celebrity culture.

Hello Cronks,
I hope everyone is doing well as we approach thanksgiving break and the end of the semester!
A few Cronkhite wide updates:
1. We have been informed by our building manager that the doors leading out to Ash Street from each wing of the building (i.e. the ones that can only be opened from the inside) are now alarmed and should not be used (this is due to some recent security and safety issues at Currier/the Quad). See the below photo for which doors I am referring to
* [cid:17da5965-662c-42a9-a120-02fe5a2baddd]
2.
3. You will notice over the next 2 days that the kitchens/dishes have been cleaned by a member of the custodial staff. This is by no means the norm, and if the kitchens reach the same state they did before this cleaning happened, the dishes will be removed - please clean your dishes!
4. With respect to removing dishes from the kitchens, some students have already expressed this is desirable. Below is a poll asking whether or not you are in favor of simply removing the dishes now. Please vote and make your voice heard!
* Poll Link<https://forms.gle/7ZsD4H5Sufo8ivn79>
5. For those that do not yet know, the door next to the elevator should now work with your Harvard IDs! Just please make sure the light on the sensor flashes green before opening the door so the alarm does not go off
If there are any questions, please let your tutor know!
All the best,
The Cronkhite Tutors
