Dear Faculty, Staff and Students-
The Outreach Program at the Davis Center is pleased to announce a one-day workshop
commemorating the 25th anniversary of the Chernobyl nuclear accident. The workshop will
feature lectures devoted to the political, historical and ecological consequences of the
disaster, as well as comparisons between the event in Chernobyl and the recent nuclear
disaster in Japan (for more details, please see complete agenda below). The workshop is
free and open to the public. Full day attendance is not required. RSVPs are also not
required, but are appreciated.
