Research Associate Positions Available at the Pluralism Project
The Pluralism Project at Harvard University, located at 1531 Cambridge
Street,
is a research organization dedicated to helping Americans engage with our
changing religious landscape through research, outreach, and the active
dissemination of resources. We serve a wide audience, including educators,
researchers, and the media. Our research associates contribute to the
day-to-day functioning of the Project and produce cutting-edge research.

The Pluralism Project is looking for college and graduate students:
to assist in the research, writing, and editing of case studies on
civic and
theological challenges of religious diversity
to track important new issues in the U.S. as they relate to Hindu,
Muslim,
Buddhist, Jain, or Sikh communities
to assist in the revision and updating of our website, educational
resources,
and databases
to provide administrative support, (including general office
support,
data
entry, filing, editing/proofreading, web-based research, support at events
and
conferences, etc.)
We are also looking to hire students who have specialized skills in:
web design and html coding
women's issues as they relate to the world's religious traditions
issues of religious pluralism in other countries
journalism and media outreach
Knowledge of the world's religions and sensitivity to religious issues is a
must. Attention to detail, ability to work in a collaborative environment,
and
computer literacy with Macintosh computers are also a plus. Our pay is
competitive, starting at $12-15 per hour for graduate students and $9 per
hour
for undergraduates. Work study eligibility is preferred. People of color are
encouraged to apply.
