Dear Harvard students,
Final reminder that the deadline for the Noma-Reischauer Prizes
in Japanese Studies 2007 is June 29 (Friday), 5:00 pm.
Prizes will be awarded for the best essays on Japan-related topics
written by Harvard University students during the current academic year:
one prize of $3,000. for best essay by a graduate student; and, one
prize of $2,000. for the best undergraduate essay.
Papers -- on Japan-related topics -- written this academic year are
eligible, including course and seminar papers, B.A. or M.A. theses, or
essays written specifically for the competition. However, doctoral
dissertations, as such, will be excluded from consideration.
