Fully funded Internships in Poland
Summer 2005
offered by
WorldTeach and the Center for European Studies, Harvard University
More information about and an application for the WorldTeach summer
program in Poland are available online at
http://www.worldteach.org.
2004 was an exciting year for Europe, as ten new member states joined the
European Union. The largest of those countries is Poland, and the Minda de
Gunzburg Center for European Studies, in conjunction with the WorldTeach
Program, will again in 2005 be offering summer internships in Poland for
Harvard College students. Interns will spend two months (mid June - mid
August) in Poland teaching English while living with a Polish family. CES
will help underwrite the internship cost for up to ten students to
participate in this exciting program in Poland, where they will be
immersed in Polish culture while interacting with and contributing to the
local community. Students will gain the invaluable experience of living
and working abroad, in addition to being exposed to a new language while
learning how to teach English in a place that exemplifies where western
and eastern Europe meet.
