Hi all,
We will have our Thursday installment of the BICEP2 / Keck results
telecon today at the usual time:
12:00 Eastern, 11:00 Central, 9:00 am Pacific
1-866-890-3820 (toll: 1-334-323-7229) Passcode: 59702175#
I expect some people are still traveling and am not sure what the
attendance will be, but we will fill the agenda:
http://goo.gl/LNvpx
I see no new analysis logbook postings since last week :)
Let's hit
- PR and talks practices (promised email to follow reiterating in one
place the policies we've already discussed)
- technical FAQ
- Papers updates
- Sims status: ongoing Keck sims

Hi-
My friend drew this new t-shirt design. What do you guys think? She's
open to constructive criticism. It's been a while since we've had a new
t-shirt.

Hi all,
The BICEP2 talks committee (me, Jamie, Chao-Lin, Clem) has been trying
to sort through the many requests of the past week. This is work in
progress. We've gotten a first batch of talks approved, and some of
them I know you are urgently waiting to hear about so I've posted the
ones we've been able to discuss and agree so far here:
http://goo.gl/nktFpw
Please don't scream at us yet if the talk you asked about isn't yet on
this list...unless you urgently need approval for it within the next
24h, in which case send the 4 of us another email.
We will eventually try to include links to slides for talks that are
done, as well as a place where we can post the talks which are "open"
(i.e. the four of us don't have any specific suggestion for the most
appropriate collaborator)...I'm thinking this will probably be a
separate page, but we'll work it out in the coming week.
John,
hopefully accurately representing
the talks committee!

Ok. Here's what I came up with:
[image: your front design][image: your front design]
If we get less than 50, we'll have to go with a different color for the
females (light grey looks good). I think we should pre-order enough for
Pole since we haven't brought one down for Keck.

Not that I have my own design to offer, but your design looks like a
rip-off of the SPT 2013 design. Got anything more original? (Also, the
gender-neutral light gray looks better than vomit-colored yellow when
contrasted with my white skin.)

Hi Sarah,
Looks great. You can put me down for at least one, more if possible. Small,
and even then I'd hope they'll shrink in the wash.
Cheers,
Rashmi

Dear Jan,
Thank you from all of us in the BICEP2 Collaboration. Planck has
produced a continuous stream of spectacular measurements and we are
eagerly looking forward to more to come in this year. We also look
forward to lively discussion and working together to advance our
understanding in these exciting times for cosmology.

Hi Sarah,
If I chip in my t'pence worth can I get Small shipped over?
The colours - oops, colors - are great. Given that instruments
are/will be mulitband,
maybe the B-modes twirls should be too?
Cheers,
Rashmi

Hey Gang,
The guys at the computing center here kept bicepkeck.org up throughout the
onslaught with about two hours notice that this was going to happen. In the
middle of the press conference we had to go on a load balancer and had to
throw resources at it ever since.
We had 3.5 million hits as of last night.

The results paper created 150 GB of traffic alone.
