Hi everyone,
We invite you to join us in celebrating the work of our HQI undergraduate summer research fellows at their poster session on Wed. Aug 2nd, 2–4pm in the Maxwell Dworkin ground floor lobby (Refreshments will be served). This summer, our fourteen undergraduate research fellows represent eight different research groups and six different concentrations, including Physics, Chemistry, CS, and Math. Their projects showcase a broad mix of science and engineering, theory and experiment. We look forward to seeing you there!
On behalf of HQI,

Hi everyone,
This summer, we will be hosting a biweekly Quantum Machine Learning (QML)
journal club. The fourth meeting is this Wednesday (August 2nd) at 2:30 PM,
where Rodrigo will present and lead a discussion on this paper
<https://epjquantumtechnology.springeropen.com/articles/10.1140/epjqt/s40507…>.
Rodrigo will be briefly introducing methods such as VQEs and fragmentation,
and will then dive into the assumptions, breakthroughs, and limitations of
the paper. Please give this paper a read ahead of time, and hope to see you
there!
Best,
Iria Wang, Rodrigo Araiza Bravo, Andi Gu, Hong-Ye Hu, Christoph Gorgulla

Hi everyone,
This summer, we will be hosting a biweekly Quantum Machine Learning (QML)
journal club. The third meeting is this Friday (July 7th) at 2:00 PM. The
format this week will be different -- I (Iria Wang, Physics G1) will
present and lead a discussion on this paper
<https://arxiv.org/abs/2104.05122>. Please give the paper a read ahead of
time, and hope to see you there!
*(Please Note: This week we have a time and location change!)*
