2012 Hours Against Hate storytelling contest
*Submit entries by July 15
Contest site<http://www.odysseynetworks.org/news/2012/06/11/2012-hours-against-hate>
Odyssey Networks is partnering with the Department of State and the
Olympics in its new initiative, 2012 Hours Against Hate. Young people age
15-24 are invited to reach out to someone of a different faith, spend an
hour together, and report back on what happened. This activity could be
eating together, visiting a special place, etc. The “doing it together”
part is more important than exactly what you are doing. For as many ways as
you find that you are different, talk about how many ways you are the same.
How many things do you have in common? Two winning stories will be chosen
by Odyssey Networks who will send a professional video crew to film your
story. *The deadline for submissions is July 15, 2012. *For more
information and to submit your story, visit:
