Subject: Call for Research Workshops Fund Applications 2024-2025
To:
Cc: Bisson, Noel <bisson(a)fas.harvard.edu>
Dear Colleagues,
We are happy to announce that we are able to restart the funding for
research workshops for academic year 2024-2025.
Attached are materials regarding the 2024-2025 GSAS Research Workshops
Program, and the opportunity to submit a new or renewal workshop proposal.
For those unfamiliar with this mechanism, the purpose of the program is to
provide funds of up to $3000.00 to bring faculty and students together
either weekly or bi-weekly over the course of the year to discuss scholarly
work in progress.
Those interested in submitting a proposal can do so through the Google
Forms link, provided in the attached guidelines. *Applications are due
Wednesday, April 17, 2024.*
Please feel free to circulate the information in your department and if you
have questions, don’t hesitate to contact me at
gsasacademicprograms(a)fas.harvard.edu.
Best wishes,
Katie

Hey everyone,
I wanted to share this event with the grad students in the history
department. There is an event coming up this Wednesday, which is hosted by
the Law and History Program of Study. Kenneth Mack, one of the history
professors in our department and a law professor at HLS, is also hosting
and speaking at the event. The event is called PROSECUTING RACIAL VIOLENCE:
PERSPECTIVES FROM HISTORY, THE JUDICIARY, AND THE DOJ and will be from
12:30-1:30 PM.
I have attached the PDF graphic to this email as well.
Best,
Keziah
