Eboo Patel <http://www.ifyc.org/about-us/eboo-patel>, Founder and President
of Interfaith Youth Core <http://www.ifyc.org/> in Chicago, will deliver
this year's Dana McLean Greeley Lecture for Peace and Social Justice.
Eboo's core belief is that "religion is a bridge of cooperation rather than
a barrier of division." He has spoken at the TED conference, the Clinton
Global Initiative, the Nobel Peace Prize Forum, and a wide variety of other
venues. He is also author of the recently released book *Sacred Ground:
Pluralism, Prejudice, and the Promise of America*. Due to limited seating,

*Circles of Healing, Circles of Peace: A Tibetan Mandala Project*
Houghton Chapel & Multifaith Center, Wellesley College

October 22-28, 2012
Beginning on October 22nd, six Tibetan Buddhist nuns from the Keydong
Thuk-Che-Cho-Ling Nunnery in Kathmandu, Nepal will create a sacred sand
Mandala at the Houghton Chapel and Multifaith Center, Wellesley College,
106 Central Street, Wellesley, MA . The process concludes on October 28th
and on that day the nuns will dismantle the Mandala and its vivid sands
will be swept away into the waters of Lake Waban.. In a unique opportunity
to share the cultural treasures of Tibet, the public is invited to view the
creation of the Mandala. All events are free and open to the general
