Dear 2025 Medical School Applicants,
Welcome to the official start of the Application Cycle! With AMCAS and TMDSAS applications now open for creation, we want to take this moment to wish you all a smooth and successful application process ahead. We know it is long, and together with your Premed Committees and Tutors, we are here to support you over the coming year to help you navigate this next part of your premed to med journey. This is one of our longer emails, so be sure to read all the way to the end not to miss out on MCS, AMCAS, and TMDSAS resources.
4/19 MCS AMCAS & application process webinar: If you didn’t attend live, or had to leave early, here is the link to the recording of our Completing the 2025 AMCAS Application webinar<https://careerservices.fas.harvard.edu/videos/completing-the-amcas-applicat…>. Slides are attached to this email.
Note: The first minute of the webinar was not recorded; the missing minute addressed the first slide, and we reviewed the importance of paying close attention to AMCAS and other primary app platform instructions and policies. Any failure to comply with AAMC, TMDSAS, or AACOMAS policies, including the ones you are asked to review before submitting the app, could result in an investigation; while rare, we have seen instances of technical difficulties with the AMCAS platform result in an investigation by the AAMC when an applicant tried to retract (“unsubmit”) their AMCAS. In the unlikely event you encounter a technical issue within your AMCAS (or other primary) app, don’t try to resolve it on your own but reach out directly to AMCAS/TMDSAS/AACOMAS for assistance.
