What is your area of focus in the library? On what subjects do you offer research
consultations?
I'm the manager of Historical & Special Collections, located within the Law
School Library. We're a "library within a library" that holds law-related
rare books, manuscripts, archival collections of papers, portraits, photographs, and
objects. I do research consultations on legal history topics.
What is your favorite TV show?
Recent favorites: La La Land and Modern Family. All-time favorite: Amadeus and old B&W
movies.
Can you list a couple of your favorite books?
Maria Semple, This One is Mine - funny but with a lot of depth. Liza Dalby, The Tale of
Murasaki - amazing blend of fiction, fact, and history.
What is your favorite library at Harvard and why?
The Law Library, of course! The people, services, collections, and building are great.
What is a fun fact about you that people might not know?
I dance - I've studied a lot of different types over the years, but tap and modern
are my favorites. And I've recently started going to climbing gyms.
What is one place beyond Harvard Square you would recommend that students visit and why?
I can't get enough of the Boston Public Garden—and it's only three stops away on
the Red Line!
