Dear House Residents,
Please go to this<http://hums.harvard.edu/mail-delivery/student-mail-forwarding> website, http://hums.harvard.edu/mail-delivery/student-mail-forwarding, to submit a forwarding order. This will ensure that all first class USPS mail and parcels arriving at the House for you over the summer are forwarded to an address of your choosing. Please note that parcels from private carriers (FedEx, UPS, etc.) cannot be forwarded, and will be managed according to policies at your House.
Also note that you will no longer have access to your mailbox after move-out, so it is important that you submit a forwarding order at the link above. In the absence of a forwarding order, mail and parcels will be returned to sender.

Notes from the Resident Dean, Brigitte Libby, pforzheimerhousedean(a)fas.harvard.edu<mailto:pforzheimerhousedean@fas.harvard.edu>:
MY OFFICE HOURS: You can always check my office hours and sign up for an appointment on my google calendar here: http://bit.ly/Pflibby<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=http-3A__bit.ly_Pflibby&d=CwMGaQ…> If these times don't work for you, just email me and we will set something else up outside those times!
If you stop by to catch me but I'm out of the office, just let Abby know you'd like to speak with me, and she'll make that happen.
Exam reminders!
You've all heard some of these items before, but I urge you to read through this note anyway-it is easy to forget exam policies, and it just takes a couple of minutes to re-familiarize yourself so that you know what to do if you get sick this week and some common problems to avoid.
You should also review the exam guidelines in the Student Handbook, here: http://handbook.fas.harvard.edu/book/final-examinations
1) Plan Ahead: Do not miss the scheduled time of your exam. Double-check your exam schedule--make sure that you have the time, room, day of the week, and date correct!
* Plan to get adequate sleep the night before. Do not try to stay up all night.
* Set a back-up alarm and/or ask a friend to wake you. Ask a friend to double check on you even if you think you will be awake. And don't count on a last-minute shuttle to get you to an exam on time, because it could be full.
You may not be allowed to take an exam if you arrive late, and you will not be allowed to take the exam if you arrive after the first student has left the room. If, in spite of all precautions, you sleep through an exam, please notify the Resident Dean's office immediately (pforzheimerhousedean(a)fas.harvard.edu<mailto:pforzheimerhousedean@fas.harvard.edu>) or come and find me or Abby in the House Office.
Pfoho Announcements:
SENIORS! Make sure you fill out the Diploma Ceremony Survey by May 18th!
Contact Abby (pforz(a)fas.harvard.edu<mailto:pforz@fas.harvard.edu>) if you did not receive her email with the link.
Pfoho Upperclass Housing Lottery (one last time):
Please take a minute to check the list posted online at http://pfoho.harvard.edu/housing, click on Rooms Selected in Upperclass Lottery 2016. If you need to change room assignments within blocks, or if you see any errors, please let me know asap. Thanks, Pfoho!

Subject: Exam week got you down? You need some Hygge!
Dear all,
Even though the calendar says it is no longer winter, we are all slogging through this exam week under leaden skies, rain and cold temperatures...and I think we all need a little Hygge. So come by tomorrow evening at 9pm to Comstock Living Room for some hot cider, bakery donuts and a crackling fire in the fireplace. Hope to see many of you there.

Hi Everyone,
Congratulations on wrapping up this academic year! As you get ready to move out of the House, please keep in mind the following related to parking/loading up your vehicles.
1. Please(!) do not park in any spaces that have signage indicating that they are for dumpster drop-offs. Most of the time, these spaces have a dumpster in them, but if you park in one when a dumpster is not there, you may well find your car is towed by the time you get back to it.
2. We have reserved a bunch of parking spaces around the House late next week for your convenience in moving out. If you are moving out before then and park in a Harvard parking space, please use your "flashers" to indicate to Parking Services and HUPD personnel that you are in the process of moving out, rather than illegally parking.
3. Please also put a note on your car's dashboard indicating that you are moving out and leaving a cell phone number where you can be reached. If there is a need to move your car, Parking Services or HUPD will attempt to call you to move it, rather than having it towed away.
Thank you.
