[PFOHO] Come paint pottery! Monday 1/18 2-4pm

Hi Everyone! Marie and I can't wait to welcome many of you back for wintersession next week! To kick it off, we're planning an afternoon outing to Made-By-Me pottery painting studio in our very own Porter Square on Monday afternoon (~2-4pm). This is the perfect opportunity to make something for that special Valentine, a birthday or thank-you gift, or perhaps something useful for the upcoming semester! The House will cover the studio fee, paint, and a base pottery budget, and there is no artistic talent necessary (even Kate can paint [&#X1f60a] )! [PFOHO] Lottery Night Results

Hi Pfoho, The Lottery Night Results are now posted on the House Office windows, and they'll soon be on http://pfoho.harvard.edu/housing, either tonight or first thing tomorrow. Please pay SPECIAL ATTENTION to your specific time (far right column), either on Tuesday night or Wednesday night, to come in and pick your room(s). If you miss your time slot, we can't back things up, you'll just have to pick later. There will be a full list of rooms posted on the House Office door and they'll get crossed off in live time as they're taken in the lottery. Come down 5 minutes or so before your time, ready with your list of rooms in preference order. A reminder one more time to Rising Sophomores - you won't pick rooms at this time, but the lottery listing will indicate the order in which you'll be assigned housing when I do the housing this summer. Once the upperclass rooms are chosen, the list of remaining rooms will be posted so you'll know your options. Good luck all. Hi Pfriends! We couldn't be more excited to kick off the 2016 Pforzheimer House intramural crew season with an introductory meeting on Wed 3/2@9pm in the Hastings Room. Here's your chance to get out on the Charles, learn a new skill, have pfun, and meet new pfriends! [cid:f87a60f2-f4db-49d3-9b23-089c1dc1e8d9] We will be going over rowing basics, scheduling, logistics, etc., so come and learn what it's all about at the meeting. Last year, we debuted two novice boats and swept the competition by surprise, and we are looking forward to being back in full force this year -- but we can't do it without YOU! Pfoho's Pfall Advising Night is TONIGHT, 8-10pm in the Pfoho Dining Hall The entire resident and non-resident tutorial staff will be there! Come meet them and talk about courses, fellowships, research opportunities, careers, study abroad, and more. * Meet our talented and knowledgeable non-resident tutor staff. * Get advice about fellowship and summer opportunities. * Learn more about conducting research. * Talk to pre-professional tutors about your interests in law, business, medicine, and public health. * Talk with specialty advising tutors about wellness, identities, public service, and more. * If you're a Government, Psychology, Economics, or Sociology concentrator, get to know your concentration advisors. * If you are a sophomore, talk with your advisor in order to get your study card advising hold lifted so that you can enroll in courses. Plus there will be lots of food, including TWO Pfamous Pfoho Shield Cakes! [PFOHO] Join us in Pfoho's Garden!

Hi Pfoho, We're lucky enough to have the only House-based garden on campus, and here's your chance to get involved! If you're interested in helping/learning how to grow some New England pfavorites this summer/fall, please sign up HERE for the latest garden news, updates, and happenings<https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1840g8y5A2O2-o_0Sx391EJ2xZHZGZj1ftoLmp760in…>! We'll be planting and watering this spring/summer and then harvesting+eating in the pfall. So far we're growing kale, herbs, lots of tomatoes, peas, strawberries, grapes, and pears -- so there'll hopefully be something for everyone to enjoy (YUM!)! We're also making plans for jam-making, maple syrup-tapping, bee-keeping next year, so stay tuned for announcements about those activities! There's absolutely no experience necessary! Everyone is welcome and we'll teach you everything you'll need to know. [
