Dear group,
We need a volunteer for next Tuesday. If I don't hear from anyone until this
Friday I will assign a random instance of the group. You can start writing
down your preference in the calendar (just fill in your name) but don't
forget to e-mail me when you do so. If you don't e-mail me you will be
included for the lottery for next week.
The clock is ticking,
-Alejandro
ps: Alan, do you have any suggestion of who should talk next week? maybe
Masoud?
Dear group members,
As I told you in the last group meeting, there is a special group
meeting tomorrow at 12.30 AM with lunch provided in honor of Ali
Najmaie, who is leaving us soon.
He will talk to us about optical detection of biological molecules.
It will be at the division room, and if not, we will leave a note or
send an e-mail with the alternate location.
We will get some lunch, so come eager to learn and hungry,
Cheers,
Alan
Orpha: Can you make sure that the division room is available? Please confirm.

Dear group,
Our usual group meeting is at 5pm. Masoud will talk about general DFS
theory. I will first introduce the reaction center of purple bacteria to
start the discussion about DFS-photosynthesis.
Cheers,
-Alejandro

Dear group,
There are several Korean snacks and chips available in M110, around my
current lair. Although they are in the box which reads "50ml conical
tube: nonpyrogenic", they are absolutely safe! :-) Feel free to
grab/eat/take a picture of/make a business out of them.
Best,
Sangwoo
Tomorrow we will meet at 5:30pm still in the Division room.
See you all soon,
-Alejandro
