One room in a two-bedroom apartment available *beginning January 2017*
(flexible move-in) with the *option to renew* the lease for a full year in
September 2017.
The apartment is a lovely two-bedroom flat on the second floor of three.
The unit has newish appliances with a washer/dryer in unit, a dishwasher,
and a garbage disposal. The water pressure and hot water are good, and a
window AC unit is available for the bedroom. There are also porches both in
the front and back of the unit. The building is clean and well-maintained,
and the landlord is attentive and trustworthy.
The bedroom is privately tucked in the back of the apartment, and while it
is not large, it never feels cramped. The shared kitchen, dining room,
living room, and bathroom are sunny, spacious, and clean. The bedroom is
available either *furnished or unfurnished*, depending on your needs.
Your roommate will be a senior PhD candidate in the History Dept. at
Harvard. She is quiet, clean, friendly, and extremely considerate. She is
also on the lease and splits all of the bills.
Rent is *1000USD/month *before utilities (gas, electric, and internet.) It
is well under market rate for it's size, quality, and location—right over
the Somerville town line, on a small, quiet, and safe street behind Thirsty
Scholar off of Beacon St, near Whole Foods, Walgreen's, and the Biscuit.
2 minutes to Inman, 10min to Harvard campus, 15min to Central, all by foot.
I have pictures available upon request. I love this apartment and will be
sad to leave it—I'm moving to start a new postdoc—but I hope you enjoy
living here just as much as I have. Please let me know if you are
interested (or if you know someone else who might be). - Rose Kennedy (

***Please Read Email In Full***
Good Morning Team,
Letter Writing Season is upon us and in order to ensure that letters are
submitted in a timely manner, we will follow the process below. *No
exceptions.*
1. *Email: *Please send a quick email to the aspuru.staff email if you'll
be applying to jobs, awards, fellowships, grants, etc this Fall season,
that's between now and January.
2. *Google Doc: *I will create a folder for you on Google docs that you
will update with some basic information (mailing address, deadline, etc)
for your letter.
3. *Letter: *I will check folders twice a week and prep letters for Alan to
review and approve before sending them out and update you on the status of
your letter.
*Please understand that Alan's schedule is a busy one and we send an excess
of 200 letters each Fall. Prompt notice to us and following of
this process is the only way to ensure that letters are written and
submitted in a timely manner.*
Finally, when submitting an email for letter submission links and letter
requests to be sent to, always use the *aspuru.staff(a)gmail.com
<aspuru.staff(a)gmail.com> *email, if they require a Harvard or .edu email
use: siriaserrano(a)chemistry.harvard.edu. Do not send letter requests to
Alan, his inbox in always full and links can get lost in there. It's also
very overwhelming to get dozens of requests at once with everything else he
has going on.
Cheers,
Siria

https://aspuru.wikidot.com/members:info
In think we should also edit the page to just show:

Send it to me and I will update.
Thanks,
Marlon.

Group,
As you know by now, this year's Department BBQ is requiring that everyone wear a bracelet to enter. I asked the front office for our group's bracelets but Kathy Oakley has the bracelets and she's at Orientation all day today. I will get our group's bracelets tomorrow morning and you can swing by after Noon to pick them up from me. I know y'all are anxious to them, worry not, there's enough bracelets for everyone!
Cheers,
Siria

I will send a printing request soon so Semion can get it by the marathon so
left me know
