When: Tomorrow Friday, March 4 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM
Where: Cabot Division Room at the Mallinckrodt Building
What: Roberto is going to give group meeting:
"My talk will be divided in two parts. First, I will discuss methods used
for the generation of molecular libraries for use in the Clean Energy
Project, along with briefly outlining its use in the Clean Energy Project
both with using quantum chemistry and the chemoinformatics approach. I will
then jump to talk about results concerning mixed-metal surface-enhanced
Raman scattering, where we aim to obtain molecular selectivity, as well as
additional "chemical enhancement" by adding a transition-metal monolayer to
the usual gold or silver substrate present in SERS."
