A few updates.
The 2pm talk is in 6C-442 and is titled "Entanglement power and QCD". I
don't have an abstract. I think this talk will be more technical and hte
other will be bigger picture.
The 4pm talk is in 26-414 and is titled: Quantum-X for QCD and Nuclear
Theory—Genesis
Abstract: First principles calculations of finite-density, quantum
many-body systems, such as QCD and nuclei, require exponentially increasing
classical resources to perform calculations with the desired precision.
Real-time evolution of such systems is similarly limited. I will discuss
the potential impact of quantum computing and quantum information science
on how Grand Challenge problems facing Nuclear Theory are addressed.

Dear quanta,
Martin Savage (U Washington) is giving two talks on Monday: the LNS
seminar at 2pm and the LNS colloquium at 4pm.
I don't have titles/abstracts yet and will write again when I do.
The 2pm talk is on entanglement in nuclear physics and the 4pm talk is
more about the big picture of how quantum computing can be useful for
nuclear physics (warning: with atarget audience of nuclear physicists).
