Subject: Re: Trimester "Analysis in Quantum Information Theory" Sep-Dec
2017 at IHP in Paris, US-based participants
To: "Stanislaw J. Szarek" <szarek(a)cwru.edu>
Dear Colleagues,
This is a follow up on the below letter most of you received earlier this
year.
As a result of several cancellations, uncommitted funds are still available
for support of US-based researchers who wish to participate in the Institut
Henri Poincaré trimester on "Analysis in Quantum Information Theory,"
<http://www.ihp.fr/en/CEB/T3-2017> Sep-Dec 2017.
If you are planning to participate in the trimester, we (the organizers)
are looking forward to see you soon in Paris. Either way, *please
encourage your students, postdocs and colleagues to attend. *While the
trimester has already started, nearly 3 months of activities remain (to be
enjoyed)! As usual, priority will be given to early career researchers,
members of underrepresented groups, and researchers who do not have NSF
grants. More details can be found here
<https://sites.google.com/site/analysisqit2017/home/nsf-support> and via
the link in the email below.
Looking forward to hear from you (and your recommendees),
On behalf of the organizers,

Dear Colleagues,
This email is intended to supplement the mass-mailing from Institut Henri
Poincare that many of you likely received in the last 24 hours. (If you did
not, check the link at the bottom of the message.)
There is a dedicated NSF grant that can support participation of US-based
researchers in the IHP trimester. Priority will to be given to early career
researchers, members of underrepresented groups, and researchers who do not
have NSF grants. More information about the trimester and instructions on
how to register for the program and/or how to apply for support (both from
the above grant and directly from the IHP) can be found at
https://sites.google.com/site/analysisqit2017/
If you already registered for the trimester, thank you. If not, but you
plan to attend, please do register at your earliest convenience. (We are
dealing here with a French bureaucracy and they need substantial lead time
to function properly.)
*Either way, please encourage your students, postdocs and colleagues to
attend. *
Hopefully see you in Paris in the fall.
On behalf of the organizers,

Stanislaw Szarek
