We do have 300 P, which would mean that the entire Friday afternoon
wouldn't work. What about Friday morning? 10 am? I realize it's early,
but there's no point in postponing these meetings ad infinitum.

I can't make Friday at 3. I won't be

Dear group.
Today and tomorrow I will be off, today it was Boston
College and
tomorrow MIT and the talk at the theory seminar.
If you need
anything,
send e-mail. I will see you on Thursday. Of
course, the talk
conflicts
with our group meeting, on FMO, so I forget if we
had
figured that out
or not. We should have it for the week after or
on Thursdsay
or
Friday.
At MIT, I will be speaking on the second hour at MIT on how
to
simulate classical systems using a QC based on
ideas of
Somma. I think
it has good chemical apps and is a possible grad
student
project. I
will mention a bit about quantum search just to
give people
the flavor
of what we are trying to do. The first hour is
phase
estimation.
Cheers,
Alan
