Many of you have students who are eligible for APS - DCP $350 travel
grants if they submit an abstract. So do your speakers, so I urge you to
pass this along to them too please!
The grants are undersubscribed and students who apply by the deadline
(Monday!) are likely to succeed.
Here is the procedure:
The instructions can be found at
http://www.aps.org/units/dcp/awards/gsta.cfm
They need only:
1) submitted abstract from student with sorting category number
2) statement that the student is (or will be) a member of DCP at the time of
the conference
3) estimated expenses for conference
4) VERY brief letter of recommendation from the advisor
Please have them send documents to nathanson(a)chem.wisc.edu with "APS
Travel Grant" in subject line.
Thanks,
Rick
