===================
Announcement:
We are pleased to announce that registration is now open for the Third Workshop in
Adiabatic Quantum Computing. This workshop is hosted and organized by the USC-Lockheed
Martin Quantum Computation Center (QCC) and the USC Center for Quantum Information Science
& Technology (CQIST).
Adiabatic Quantum Computing (AQC) promises to be robust to many noise sources that cause
ordinary quantum circuits to fail, including environmental decoherence and imperfect
control. While any quantum algorithm can be run on a universal adiabatic quantum computer
in principle, combinatorial optimization problems appear to be the most natural for
near-term devices. Understanding the landscape of AQC architectures and algorithms, and
methods for realising them, continues to be an active and vibrant research area. The Third
International Workshop on Adiabatic Quantum Computing (AQC 2014) brings together
researchers from different communities to explore this computational paradigm. The
Workshop is a sequel to AQC 2012 (Albuquerque) and AQC 2013 (London).
Please visit the workshop website to register.
