Dear group,
Ivan is going to give a introductory talk on quantum walks. Please let me
know if you will attend. I need to find a time who fits everybody interested
and most likely it won't be on a group meeting slot. So, please reply by
this Friday the latest if interested. Read below the description directly
from Ivan:
"Mike Stopa said two weeks ago that would be interested in hearing a talk
about quantum walks on graphs. If you'd like, I could give one, in a format
similar to that of my last group meeting. It would cover such things as what
a quantum walk is, but probably mostly focus on that important paper by
Childs and the MIT crowd showing an exponential speedup when two binary
trees are joined by a random cycle at the leaves."
Cheers,
-A
