Mr. Sinha's talk, "The Innovation Equation at Tata," will focus on energy
and innovation as it relates to both the Tata Group and India as a whole. He will also
discuss Tata Motors' Nano, a $2500 four-passenger city car that entered the market in
2008, and has since received a number of innovation prizes.
Based in Mumbai, India, Tata Group Tata companies operate in seven business sectors:
communications and information technology, engineering, materials, services, energy,
consumer products and chemicals. Their global enterprise has revenue of $70.8 billion.
