FYI, by way of Mike.
Since the workshop is more instructional, it doesn't seem to have an
opportunity for research presentations. If Alan deems it necessary for
someone to attend, please see me about the travel since FAS policy will
consider this similar to a fellowship opportunity.
Thanks,
Anna

Hi Anna,
There is an NNIN workshop in Cornell that I think Alan’s group would be very
interested in (Nov. 14-16). My Cornell-NNIN counterpart, Derek Stewart, is
organizing it and he asks if we can scare up some more Harvard participants.
I will go and I will probably drive, so expenses will not be so great.
Anyway, I don’t want to bother Alan with this right now. I’m sure he would
be okay with at least sending around the announcement (with a copy of this
letter) . Can you do that for me ? I also am cc’ing Derek on this email.
To Derek,
Alan Aspuru-Guzik is one of the people whose group would definitely be
interested. He is away right now with personal time off so I am sending this
to his administrator Anna Shin.
Thanks,
Mike
