Hi everybody,
Since we are in the conference season I had a look into business cards the
other day and here is what I came up with (maybe of interest for people):
1) the standard Harvard cards from UIS
https://www.uis.harvard.edu/printing_publications/hrvrdstat.php are really
expensive with 85$ for 500 cards
2) I now ordered 200 cards at Staples for 36$ (54$ for 500; they have a bit
plainer paper but more colour and design freedom;
http://www.staples.com/sbd/cre/programs/copyandprint/business_cards.html).
They only need 4h to make them - if you take the delivery option it is
cheaper and you can get better paper
(
http://www.staplescustomprinting.com/PriceQuote.aspx#100360). However,
Staples needs a letter from the Harvard Trademark Program which states that
you are entitled to have cards with the Harvard shield
(
www.trademark.harvard.edu).
3) Anna discovered today another Harvard business card service (UOS)
(
http://www.uos.harvard.edu/transportation/mail_services/business_cards.shtm
l) where one gets basically the same as in (1), but with a few more options
(e.g., multicolor) and for much less money, i.e., 35$ for 300 cards.
Hope this info is useful for some of you.
Cheers
Jo
