Postdoctoral position in theoretical condensed matter physics at the
University of Victoria, B.C., Canada
The department of Physics at the University of Victoria (group of Prof.
Rogério de Sousa) is hiring a postdoctoral researcher with a strong
background in theoretical condensed matter physics, and an interest in the
physics of superconducting qubits. The researcher will design strategies to
reduce noise in superconducting devices and related qubits. He/she will be
based in Victoria but will work in collaboration with scientists from
D-Wave systems, Inc. The position can start immediately with an initial
contract for one year, with possible extension to multiple years. To apply,
