concept of 'boundary politics' as a way to analyze the boundaries
between scientists and policymakers.
September 14 - 16: "A Roadmap to Sustainable Infrastructure &
Green Cities," a two-day Graduate School of Design conference,
brings together thought leaders and practitioners for a discussion
on designing green cities and infrastructures. Presentations and
panel discussions will provide valuable insights and lessons for
attendees to put into action now.
Tuesday, September 20: The first lecture in the Biodiversity,
Ecology & Global Change series kicks off with HUCE faculty
associate Richard T. T. Forman, PAES Professor of Landscape
Ecology. His talk, "How Could Nature Thrive in Urban Regions?
Could the Future of Road Have No Driving, No Emissions, and
Nature Reconnected?" explores his new concept of a sustainable
road-vehicle transportation system.
