Wednesday are now full.
I now have 6 people who have volunteered for the lunch discussion on
Thursday (more details on location to follow, but I assume it will be
catered in the division room). If you are interested in meeting Anatole
and weren't able to get into the schedule so far, let me know and I'll see
if there is a way to squeeze you in.

On Wednesday January 29th Professor O. Anatole von Lilienfeld(University of Basel) will
be visiting us. Dr. Lilienfeld's research
focuses on combining statistical mechanics, electronic structure theory,
and machine learning algorithms for the rational design of materials from
first principles (

will be giving the pchem seminar at 4:15pm entitled "'Quantum Machine':
Supervised learning of Schrödinger's equation in chemical compound
space". This talk will be particularly relevant for anyone involved with
any of the materials screening projects in our group.
