Hey group!
I just learned that the MathWorks people who develop MATLAB are hosting a
series of eight sessions at MIT during the week of January 23. The
sessions look really interesting for anyone who does MATLAB work. The
topics for the eight sessions are:
Parallel Computing with MATLAB
Advanced Graphics and Visualization in MATLAB
Mathematical Modeling with MATLAB
Introduction to Object-Oriented Programming in MATLAB
Computer Vision with MATLAB
Applied Curve Fitting with MATLAB
How Basic Communications Theory Turns into a 4G Wireless System Model in
MATLAB
Introduction to MATLAB: Problem Solving and Programming
You can register for any of these sessions on the website:

Dates and times are listed for each session on that website.
Just thought this might be useful!
Cheers,
Jacob
