Wednesday, November 12: Ulrich Beck, Professor of Sociology and director of
the Institute for Sociology of Munich University, and the British Journal of

Society's Cosmopolitan Moment: Climate change and the opportunity for a new
world order."
Thursday, November 13: Harvard Professor Charles Langmuir presents a long
view of planetary events that can help us understand the relationship
between human beings and the Earth as part of the "Earth Matters"
programming at the Harvard Museum of Natural History.
Wednesday, November 19: In "Energy, Security, and the Long War of the 21st
Century", R. James Woolsey speaks about the potential transformations from
