Dear all,
I need 2-3 volunteers to present a poster at the undergraduate research fair
in October. Please contact me ASAP. If there are no volunteers by tomorrow,
I will use the "arbitrary advisor" method and pick 2 or 3 of you to do this
P-)
Best,
Alan

Subject: Reminder - Undergradute Research Fair
To: "Aspuru-Guzik, Alan" <aspuru(a)chemistry.harvard.edu>
Dear Alán,
Last month Rob Lue and I wrote to you about the Undergraduate Research Fair
on October 14 from 2-5 pm at the Queen’s Head Pub on the Cambridge campus.
The purpose of this fair is to provide undergraduates (especially freshmen
and sophomores) with information about the range of research opportunities
available to them at Harvard and give them a chance to meet people from a
variety of labs. All faculty engaged in life sciences research at Harvard
are invited to join us in an afternoon poster session and we also strongly
encourage participation by post-docs and graduate students from your lab.
Your group may present posters that have been prepared for other purposes,
but we recommend making a more general poster that would provide information
on several of the ongoing projects in your laboratory. We hope that you will
view this as a great opportunity for your lab group to meet and possibly
recruit new students.
If you or members of your lab are planning to present a poster, please
contact me by *October 1* so that we can make sure that we have enough room
and easels for all. We are planning to compile an abstract book so we would
appreciate a three or four sentence description of your lab’s work. If you
have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me. I look forward to
seeing many of you there.
Sincerely,
Ann Georgi
