Hi everyone, this is a reminder that tomorrow, July 1st, Prof. Apoorva Patel is visiting the group for one day. Prof. Patel will give a talk at 3pm on the optimization of quantum Hamiltonian evolution. ------------- Title: Optimisation of Quantum Hamiltonian Evolution Speaker: Apoorva Patel Centre for High Energy Physics Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore-560012 Abstract: Given a quantum Hamiltonian and its evolution time, the corresponding unitary evolution operator can be constructed in many different ways, corresponding to different trajectories between the desired end-points. A choice among these trajectories can then be made to obtain the best computational complexity and control over errors.
