Best, Riley -------------------------------------------------- Title: Mesoscale quantum dynamics Abstract: I will present an informal group meeting with a forward outlook on quantum dynamics projects in my future lab. I will mainly be discussing my perspective on the developing field of mesoscale quantum dynamics - the study of quantum effects influencing material properties arising on the 10-100 nm length scale. I will also present some (extremely) preliminary data showing a pathway towards numerically exact simulations of quantum dynamics incorporating >>1,000 degrees of freedom.
